I think it can be solved by using Applocale set to Chinese (simp ofc).
That's what the problems are, usually.

You should really consider trying out FEZ JP instead. It's much funner playing there as everything coordinated very well and all players know what they're doing. Events are also very frequent and reward stuff like Flux Wings, making it easy to get by without buying Arbs. Plus, you get to have the most updated version of the game!

Though, you do have to get a VPN to get around the foreign IP block. Looking around, I found that Overplay provides the most consistent service and gets you pretty good ping. The best part is their customer service. They're very fast and try to help you as much as possible so that your experience is the best it can be.

even if you cant read chinese or japanese...just install the language packs.
This is a must..you rlly need them. Even in game the letters will be like that
and you will be raging cause you cant even use shops and so on...just do it.

CH version is ok
JP is better but you need VPN or your freedom.

Ah and @ this guys who said this is the jp version cause of the
jp letters on the top of the FE logo....this is in every version the same
logo..lol rlly its a japanese game and those letters were in the EU version
too. Its part a part of the FE logo
