![]() Chinese media reports that Kentucky Fried Chicken is taking legal action against the management of “Obama Fried Chicken” on grounds of trademark infringement. A store bearing the “OFC” livery – complete with Obama’s likeness replacing that of the Colonel – reportedly appeared in Beijing, causing rapid reverberations online and an almost equally rapid response from KFC proper, which vowed legal action. The store was apparently the work of one of China’s notoriously innovative entrepreneurs, in this a case a university student, and had not yet opened. This is not the first time KFC has had to deal with Chinese pretenders – previously it had to tackle “KFG”: |

worst thing i find is that we're still outsourcing jobs there and then criticizing them.
and on the question of copy right i honestly don't give a sht as long as i get a laugh out of what happens. I mean marco polo stole a ton of ideas when he went to china and who the fck actually cares? How does copyrighted stuff actually effect you? Cheaper, worse quality, but if it actually was better than the original then that just indicates there are a ton of problem with the original. I don't condone dvds movies etc/piracy.
