Hey Narfi, got a quick question. A while back some guy set a record for paying for some in-game Egg (no one knew what was in it) on EU. Do you know what it hatched into? I believe he paid either 25K or 100K for it.

It was purchased originally before I started playing and is a bit of a legend in the game.
There is a lot of speculation about what it will be, but my belief is that originaly it was intended to be nothing besides a decorative peice, but now since there is so much value (put on it by players) and hype about it, that eventually they will create something they hope to match the hype from it.

It was last sold by NEVERDIE to Deathifier for 696969 PED for it. ($69696.90USD)

Deathifier put it on display in the courtyard of his castle at Treasure Island and then did a series of treasure hunt events with it appearing on different land areas that he owned.

NEVERDIE used the money earned from the sale to further invest in his studio NEVERDIE Studios which has created the new planet Rocktropia within the Entropia Universe.
(he also sold Club Neverdie in parts for a total of $635,000usd for the same purpose)

If it has been a while since you played, its well worth logging back in and checking it out. They have improved so many things since vu10 first released. Currently 4 planets going + space opened up as a 3d area to travel in unlike the 'travel' before.

Motherships, Privateers, Quad-Wing Fighters and VTOLs are what we have to travel around space with now and new planet partners are expected to bring new space ships when they go live. (pure speculation)

Yeah I tried it a while back but gave up after I took a series of teleporters and had no idea where I was / how to get back. Sweating at the time was also pretty retarded, stuff kept running away and I failed most of the time?

Well depending on what planet you are on you can find other new players to team with while sweating, this will produce better results.
If you are on Calypso I recommend you go to Neas Place and sweat there, that is where most of the sweaters gather to work together. (good for socializing too)(except for the social rejects who attempt to grief everyone around that you find in any large gathering of people)

The mentor system was re-introduced last week, So I would really recomend you find a good mentor (search on the appropriate forum for the planet you are on) and they can help you get started so you are less confused and lost by the different places and stuff.

A friend of mine recommend Uncharted Waters Online to me and I'm currently playing it for about 2months now and counting. You might give it a try though, it has a lot of quest and job to choose from. Although it's kinda different from you the games you played but I can guarantee you'll love this game as much as I do. ^ ^
