Firefox has been taking up around 1 gb of memory for some reason so i'm looking to switch browsers. Any minimal browser that can do everything, but take up little memory?

I'm not sure about memory usage but Google Chrome is GREAT. I've been using it on my PC/notebook/netbook with no problems whatsoever. I DONT think it takes up alot of memory, its efficient, looks slick plus whatever you type in the address bar is a google search.
My two cents.

Honestly Chrome is only good if you browse in a single tab.
If you like to multitab like me then Chrome will hog up the same amount of resources as FF does. P.S FF taking 1gb is crazy. There is something wrong with it or with your computer. It definitely doesn't take that much. Usually around 150k-350k.

I've seen firefox bug out like that before. I don't think it's my computer as it's happened on two different computers

I've noticed that Firefox likes to crash when im watching streams with no reason at all, so I switched to chrome and I absolutely love it, the adds blocker doesnt really work for streams though so thats kind of annoying, but I guess its better than firefox that keeps freezing my comp.
