So I'm looking to spend around $400 to upgrade the shit I have now which is just insanely terrible.

I'd like to be able to play games on it, but I'm not looking to run them on Ultra settings. I'm pretty used to low so that's not really an issue.

Mainly just looking for something with a decent video card that can run relatively newer games on low-medium.

I haven't built before but it's an option that I've considered.

"Upgrade".... what do you have now? Pretty hard to upgrade if we don't know what you have, right?
