Hey guys so here's my question
Is there a way to completely wipe everything and i mean COMPLETELY, on the ipod touch 4th gen? I plan on selling it on craigslist, but when i did "restore" from itunes It didnt reset anything, I'm just worried the buyer wont be able to sync it to his computer cause It's already under mine etc. |

Syncing to another PC with iTunes on is auto-wipe.
I don't know about the itouch, but my ipod classic has an option to enable it as HDD. If you can, just use an app to wipe everything about 9 times and you should be fine.

Yeah syncing to another computer is auto wipe.
Or what you can do is download ios 4.3.3 (or another) and then re-install itunes. and then DFU restore it (hold down home + power for 10 seconds, then shit + click restore in itunes, choose the file u downloaded , ios 4.3.3 or whatever , and restore)

Thanks for the replies guys!
So If i sell it as is (I'll delete apps, pics, music, movies etc) once the person who buys it syncs it to their comp, EVERYTHING is wiped as if it just came out of the box? |
