Hello I generally like stealth in games such as most games make assassins stealthy so they can be invisible to other players in pvp or something of this sort. Probably the most famous for me would be WoW´s Rogue stealth I loved it because it let me be the chicken I am.. plus a game of Sap tag is always fun. But I´m sorta burnt out on WoW plus I just found out I spent 1080 dollars on WoW... anyways I was wondering is there some games out there that have similar or better Stealth classes Hopefully with fun things like pick pocket and sap xD Uhh the first that comes to mind that I have tried would be FYL, FEZ, uh can´t think of others but hopefully I can get some responses before Long. Thank you for your time.
Edit: Currently looking into Warhammer online was told theres a stealth ability in there and also Forsaken world. Hyou~ Last edited by Ailleron; 11-20-2011 at 12:55 AM. |

League of Legends (akali, shaco, evelyn, twitch, etc. etc.) have some fun stealthing mechanics. Though all of the stealthers get nerfed eventually, so some of them are no-longer playable unless you are one of the original pros. FEZ is a great game for stealthing and I highly recommend it... If it were still here. You could also try games which use line-of-sight and 'spotting'. I forget which games are out there (Battlefield 3 and World of Tanks)?

Lotro's burglar had a good stealth mechanic imo.
It was simply more than a hiding gimmick, it actually boosted the stealth attack. That's the only good stealth mechanic that I can remember that wasn't suggested already. (LoL) |

Yeah but stealthing in Lost Saga shows on minimap. Still, it was fun to do the melee assassin combo.
I used to be a huge fan of assassin in Lost Saga. I did not know they existed in Angels Online! And I'm pretty sure that half of the assassin subtypes in League of Legends do not have a stealth! I still recommend World of Tanks because it is so easy to learn. |

I have a similar question:
In WoW, I like to take my Horde Rogue into Stormwind and try to gank any Alliance that happen to be PvP-flagged (from having just exited a Battleground). I also do the same thing with my Horde Death Knight even though he can't stealth. Does anybody know of a different game (besides WoW) where you can do something like that? For those who don't know, Stormwind is the Alliance city in WoW where most of the Alliance players hang out. So what I'm looking for is invading a city like that... where most players of the opposite faction hang out and they'd try to defend their city against invaders like me. I'm wondering if there's a different game besides WoW where that's possible.

:P just kidding. im actually wondering about the same thing as well. im starting to really get into stealth type classes. Even though in almost all mmorpgs stealth types tend to be the most hated, and cash shop whores :/.. |
