Planning on buying this comp.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1188415&sku=G180-140000 as you can see its black friday sale, so it is about 80$ off. 2nd gen intel i5 at 3.0 ghz with window 7 installed. and 4gb of ram with 500 gb hard drive. Obviously it has an intregrated video card and low watt supply. So im willing to edit those two. However im concerned that a decent video card such as the hd 6850 or 6870 wont fit since this is labled as a "microtower"(or micro atx?). Same thing for the power supply too. So basically the question is how customizable is this comp, and will adding new parts such as a video card and power supply fit? |

They both should fit, but I'm advising against it.
If the 6850/6870 would be a triple-slot GPU, you'd basically cut off the fan airflow from below. It has that much space... :/

The HD6850 and 6870 are dual-slots GPUs (note 'if ... would be'). Still, it barely would leave any breathing space below the card. I wouldn't put in more than a single-slot/low profile GPU in it.
Alternatively, you also could buy a cheap mid-case. It's about 40USD for the average low-end gaming mid-cases. This should give you all the space for a normal PC setup.
