A few years ago I was looking for a RPG that I could turn into a hobby, something I could play without worrying about the game ending or min-maxing too hard or anything like that. Then I stumbled into Achaea, one of Iron Realms Entertainment's text MUDs, and have been playing ever since.

Every one of the games Iron Realms Entertainment provides is the type of game that is simply much more fun when more people are playing, and there are hundreds of players who have been playing literally for years. So I remembered a few years ago how desperately I was looking for a good game, and how many sites like this I looked in, and I thought maybe if I wrote something like this, it would catch the attention of a few people who are looking for the game to play and get hooked on.
