Mabinogi and EVE are completely different games. One is a casually-oriented happy-go-lucky roleplaying game with crafting... And one is a tryhard sci-fi economy-based political spacefaring war game with crafting...

I recommend A Tale in The Desert. There should be a F2P server if I've heard correctly. But it does have skill caps. Maybe Runescape :P

http://www.hookedonphonics.com/ is a fun game. There's a lot of crafting when you get into it, and you can level up your skills with no limit!
