Here is the Solution: Take ALL children from FAMILIES (no matter it be the mom, dad, son, or daughter) who log an exceeding amount of hours on online games AWAY from their parents and put them in to large boarding complexes.
The children then live a very structured and observed life, yet one that offers freedoms for them to enjoy their youth. For 6 hours a day, they take part in intensive, interactive lessons to learn skills that will help them later on in life. The children gain more freedom in choosing what classes/courses they take as they get older, to the point that the last 4 years of education/boarding are completely chosen by them. State paid employees whose sole purpose is to spend time with, care for, and provide a helping hand to these children will be present in a great quantity. These employees themselves will be monitored and reports will be made public regularly, so anyone who wishes to can read up on the status of a certain "Care-giver". After the 6 hours of compulsory education (with two thirty minute breaks during), the children then take part in an hour of physical education, and then an hour of free exercise (playing games, lifting weights, swimming, etc...). After that, they have 3 hours to go out in the town (equipped with cell phones that have unlimited calling and texting, as well as are equipped with GPS tracking) and do as they please. Families are required to provide their child(ren) with a weekly allowance of a suitable amount (enough to eat out a few times with friends, go see some movies, sigh up for some out-of-school classes if they want, etc...). They child can not be provided any more or any less than the pre-determined amount, so all Children can have equal footing. An adequate quantity of "Care-givers" will be out and about roaming the streets and shops to keep an eye on the children (of course, younger children wont be able to go off campus without close supervision and in large groups). After the three hours is up, any children still out in town will be picked up by the roaming care-givers and taken back to the school for dinner (at which some form of classic music, live theater, sports match, etc... is provided. All done by students of the school, of course. Those that perform get extended time to eat). After dinner, the children get 5 hours of free time to play on computers, to play in the fenced in area around their boarding house, sleep, talk, homework (which is only given very rarely). At "Lights-out" all internet connections are disconnected from the boarding houses/buildings, and all power cords to computers (or batteries if laptops) must be turned in. They are allowed to keep their cellphones and use them freely if they want, as long as it doesn't disturb other people. After their compulsory school is done, they must spend 2 years of service in our Glorious Leader's military. One year of which is strictly for military training, the second is for active service. After the 2 years, career counseling will be provided and people will be given jobs that best fits their abilities and interest, but also keeps in mind the needs of our Glorious Nation. Until the age of 55, all people must remain in "reserve" status of the military. |
