So, not really sure if this is lounge material, but in any case here I go:

I'm really into making music, but I've had a creative block for a couple of days now, so I decided to do a cover, or remix, or whatever you wanna call it instead - And, since I love FF music, I decided to go to shop with "Prelude" from FFVII.
Seeing as how this is a gaming forum, this should be right up your alley now shouldn't it people?

All the music on the channel is self-made, although all I posted up until this one has been experimental for the sake of getting to know the software I'm using.

You might say this FF song is the first song I've made using the most of what I know about production. Still could have been better, I made it in one sitting.
Got home from work, and being working on this song non-stop for 3-4 hours - Finito

Screwing around on software with stolen material isn't the same thing as making music. Is that why you called it muzac?

Well, to be fair, I'm not "screwing around with stolen material" in the song I posted. Everything is programmed from scratch(except for the sound of the chocobo in the beginning) and it was done from ear(I.E no score, and no midi reference) - Which I am at full liberty to do.

In any case, covering, sampling and remixing is still considered making music, which is why it is a part of technical music studies. So wanna try again?

The Final Fantasy prelude is awesome, always brings me back. I didn't really like the drums though, the samples used were too weak... so my philosophy is when you can't go big, less is more.

What software are you using by the way?

I like the Shing02 remix, great beat.. and also Bluerutia.
