You've given me pretty vague information, does the error occur during patching, while playing, while downloading? Could you give me some more information and or show a screenshot so I can be of more help hopefully ^_^?

hey hey... i kinda hav a prob here..well ive done practically everting n i even successfully logged in... but when i press d game start button, d pink bar filled like half n it doesnt moves at all after dat... it keeps stating apply patch.... so wat can i do?

I'm assuming if your patcher stopped mid-way one of the patch files are corrupted. Have you tried re-extracting the files, and or re-downloading the patch files all together?

i did wat u asked me 2... from re extracting d files to downloading d files again n extracting it again... but d same prob occurs again... usually hw long does it takes 4 d pink bar 2 b full?

ok... now my pink bar is full n stuff... bt i hav d exact same prob as d person who post a reply be4... d mstar tingy closed by itself n some msg appears... i uninstall my anti virus... bt wat's a game guard folder? wat do i do wif it?

Im having problems with this game T.T
I registed, downloaded the client, installed the game, patched using method 1, but nothing happens! When i open the game, the game start is grey and there is nothing in the red box mentioned in the tutorial.. its been like that for hours, dunno what to do anymore

The gameguard folder is located normally in your C: drive, but wherever you have the "Ini3" folder changes that.

Anyway, to access it go to
Ini3---->Mstar---->Binaries---->Gameguard

I'd suggest deleting this folder, then attempting to log-in again, and click gamestart. (A new gameguard folder should load after you delete it)

After clicking gamestart, gameguard is supposed to download/install if it is the very first time you are acessing the game.

Something like this:


If this is not happening something is probably corrupted in your game's folder and or missing. x:
1. Did you put in your ID and password and hit log-in? After that the "gamestart" button should not be greyed out. And you should be able to click it.
2. Did you try running as administrator. To do this right click the Mstar icon and choose the option run as admin.
3. Did you actually extract the patches by executing them? You can do this by double clicking them, and they should self-extract into the game.

I'm not quite too sure what could be the cause of the button being greyed out, maybe you did not make your account completely :> I dunno. I need to know if it is greyed out AFTER you click gamestart or BEFORE.

i did wat u asked... d gameguard tingy loads exactly like urs... but after finished loading it closes by itself n nothing showed up... den i clicked on d mstar icon again n logged in... n it closes n d "msg (5)" box appear... den d whole game tingy closed again... could it b becoz my notebook couldnt support game coz it's size is 2 big 4 my notebook?

ok... now i tink i noe y i cant play... i sort of din pass d cpu n video requirement... can i do anyting like download stuffs 2 upgrade?

Yes, i logged in, and the button is still grey T.T im sure i extracted the patches..

Asides getting a new video card, or computer, I'm not too sure. The graphics for mstar are quite demanding on the cpu.

Well, maybe you can post a screen shot? Is the gamestart button grey before or after you click it, or are you just not able to click it at all?
