Default Does anyone else feel WoW sucks now?

Just everything about it, does not feel like the same game, it seems the game died when Lich king ended. Now its just really noob friendly, too many idiots in the game and guilds are just a means of gaining bonuses rather than being fun/social. Not to mention we can get gear than have like 140k hp lol...I personally cancelled my sub which is why i post here to see if anyone else feels the same.

The point is, the game is popular today for the wrong reasons, its popular because of how it used to be, and even the new trailer is mega-fail, and I can't beileve panda's are actually going to be walking side by side with the Horde, most retarded shit I've ever heard to be honest. I had an Undead Warlock that I been jamming since TBC, but, its okay I guess, I play'd in a time of its prime, but now its just dieing, its already lost 3 mil people I believe, and with the release of the next expansion it will drop even more, so ok yeah, the panda's were in the old lore of warcraft, but things have evolved since then and it just dont suit panda being on the ****ing horde...the game is just old I guess and people are tired of it.

Now as you know there have been many fail mmo's that were supposed to be WoW killers, when really it was just fan boys that hated WoW so much (for whatever reason), But I shit you not, When Guild Wars 2 comes out, this game will destroy any game on the market today, its probably the reason why so many MMO's are being pumped out today, to try make money before GW2 releases...and why World of warcraft will soon come to an end as blizzard are working on a new game 'titan', but just everything and seeing gameplay of GW2 makes WoW look like runescape lol. Anyway, I just thought I'd share that for anyone that might care.

It's not right to be mean, but I guess I'm gonna do it anyways.

Welcome to the last 3-4 years of the mmo genre and its respective community.

Nothing new here at all.

Also I think GW2 will merely be a side dish for most people not the main course.

Haha, there's so many different communities in WoW. It'll probably live as long as Everquest has because of it too.

There's the Vanilla-or-bust crowd, the BC crowd, the WotLK face-smashers (see what I did there?), the Cataclysm lovers, and probably the panda lovers as well. One of these communities or more will stick to the game forever.

lol oh sure thing, I didn't mean to say WoW will just be dead and empty, I'm sure a good few million will always play it, like Orginal GW, lineage and what not, but I just cant see myself playing it any longer really. Maybe because the games going downhill or I've just had my time on it, but there's a lot of in-depth videos about GW2 on youtube and after watching them, and how far ahead it is of WoW, just makes my point even more clear to me...if that makes sense

I'm not a huge fan of WoW anymore for the same reasons you named. I liked Vanilla and BC, then Wotlk was the start of being ridiculously easy to gear yourself. It was also the introduction of making old raids obsolete because of making heroic dungeons capable of gearing your character with better stuff than the previous tier of raids. It was also the introduction of toggleable hard modes. which I wasn't really a fan of. After killing Lich King, going back through all the bosses I've killed 20 times, with new wrinkles added to the fight, just wasn't fun to me.

@Zekee

If you are living in EU, I suggest you to give a shot to Aion in the February, it's changing model to F2P so you won't lose anything. To be honest, it's gonna be the only f2p game on the market from the New Generation MMORPGs, and as I believe it will get a second life with the new model.
