Classified.
Also, when I pick something more recent: I saw over 200 life music acts in 2011 and went on 3 music festivals, which made my year pretty ballin overall; Come to think of it that would make more than enough to have one concert every second day. Last edited by Ronin; 01-15-2012 at 11:50 AM. |

I've explored every town I've ever spent a significant amount of time in. Extensively, to the point where I don't think there is anywhere I haven't been in each of them.
1 would be my home town...various abandoned buildings and secret bridges forgotten by time miles out in the woods. We also found an illegal log cabin that burned down a few months later (on state property, hunters building I assume). No, we didn't burn it down. 2 would be the town I went to school in. I rarely "went to school". We spent a lot of time on back roads and in old factories that got shut down. Also finding bum nests. Theres a really cool super old graveyard in the woods next to a well. I had a friend fall through 3 staircases from the top of a tower, we honestly thought he was dead. And lastly would be the town I went to summer school in. I went every year because I was a **** up and didn't go to school lol. I spent less time there, so I missed out a lot. But we did check out some old barns and climb a water tower. |

I was in grade school back then, we had a nasty storm during classes and it flooded everywhere including the one bridge on the way home.
7km+ about halfway the schoolbus got stuck on that bridge, with waist deep water me and my bus mates traverse floods for almost an hour, with a little help from trucks, I would grab on to the back ledge and hitch a free ride over the floods. About 1km away from home with all mudded up white uniform, I just walked through it and miraculously only got a bit of water in my bag (and no diseases).

My life is pretty enviable. My college is paid for, I don't have to work, I'm dating a french girl, I have access to a car (don't own one, though), through family and friends I have great contacts for multiple things (I may even be able to take a semester off at some point to work on a research vessel, for example), and I've already mentioned all of the countries I've visited and friends I've made there.
Despite all that, I like to stay home and read books and pet my dogs more than anything else. Sometimes I feel all that is wasted on me. But yes, luck is a good word for it. That and privilege http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privile..._inequality%29 |
