1) spending several hours trying to beat the doctor fetus level in super meat boy was pretty tense, I guess. By the end, the paint on the controller had come off onto my hand. I haven't bothered playing it since because I know when I am beaten.

2) Playing the Pegasus Bridge level in call of duty. it was mm, pretty much the first first person shooter I'd ever played. certainly the first on pc, anyways. I remember dying many times. Cowering behind scant shelter with next to no health as my ammunition ran out, and not daring to run out into the open to scavenge more for fear of being shot dead. It was more real and intense for me than anything the later cod games have had me do. Although it wasn't as hard as the Pavlov's House level later in call of duty, where the building is being attacked by tanks while you're inside it, it burnt a clearer mental image into my head.

In Runescape, I did the quest Recipe for Disaster in one day. Took like 7 hours. I would not recommend it.

Transformers Armada... Your playing like a normal shooter and then in the end, throws you into a flying bit that you never messed with in the whole game.

Quite annoying.

The final boss in Gears of War 3. So hard to beat on the hardest difficulty.

A match in World of tanks. I was in my Luchs, my team got demolished, I managed to hunt down and single handily destroy 4 other light tanks. They still had a Heavy KV tank, with only 30 shells Left I circle strafed him, on my 8th shell he had about 40% life, I some how managed to detonate his ammo rack and won the game. Bricks were shat.

Clan warring over a province in Shogun 2 that would mean our clan would be 2nd place in Tier 2. Last hour before this week is over. Went full blitzkreig build, no range support whatsoever just katanas, 2 small spear units and cavalry.

Opponent camped on the hill with typical matchlock and archers covered by naginatas. Thought to myself easy win, scouted nearby forests and found no cavalry. STRANGE I thought but maybe he is just moving them before I got there, so I positioned myself and charged. Cavalry circled around the back and was charging at his ranged unit. Thinking to myself GG, then poof NINJA'S EVERYWHERE blocked the charged and then my cavalry proceeded to get raped by the naginatas.

Sent my general on a suicide mission to kill his general and got off the charge before he got intercepted. His general died, retreated my general but he got shot by a stray bullet and dies. Battle rages on, most of his men rout and most of mine are dead or routing. All I have left is 2 units of katanas, one with 90% of the men dead the other with about 55% both are very tired, he still has 1 full untouched unit of matchlocks left. 1st unit gets destroyed in 1 volley 2nd unit keeps charging but is wavering and wants to go home. Thought to myself gg but then the 2nd volley never came and my samurai got off the charge and I won. Holy **** was that an intense game.

uh i have a lot but ill list my only mmo moment where i was alone and thought it was actually tense, the final boss for the jedi knight class quest in swtor, its probably the single hardest thing i have ever done that was ment for 1 player in a mmo at least, there is litterally no room for error if you do it the correct way, it invovles switching targets and interupting while also trying to hit clones once to make them vanish, if you miss an interupt your dead, if you miss a clone or take to long to kill it your dead.

people have found ways like line of sight to make him easier now though.
