I've never played it before and I am looking to try it out, does anyone still play this game?

mabinogi is a nice game but hard to play with lag.... has a real "action" based combat system (every action takes time to initiate, if not used at the right moment you can be killed in 1-2 hits)
also if theres no players around your level (chapter) then its going to be a pain to play since the chapter bosses cant be soloed
also... windmill kick is the only skill that you should get with any build and is also the hardest skill to lvl up if you dont lvl it on very early levels

P.S this game has a very interesting skill set to choose from and all skills can be learned given enough time
(years) also no other game so far has featured a working age system as far as i know

Eu Version is kinda broken and I dont think they will keep it up...the new update rumor was a joke..nothing happens even after nexon eu changed to s.a.r.l. still a bad company.

Sad that there are no freeshards or a new mabi server for global. Would join

Mab was and still is a great game, i'd give it a go. But the "action" system is lacking tbh. it is godly compared to runescape's "action" system though. not that is saying much haha

I quit on the NA server cause of the hackers and dupers. That includes the entire guild I was in, so I know for a fact there are still many dupers in it.
They ruined the economy and I lost shit I worked hard for because of the hackers.

There's also the fact that my cousin's account got hacked, the guy running around playing on it, I added him, found out he was an idiot and got proof from him that he had taken the account, and instead of helping my cousin, they gave me 5k nx and said sorry, we're busy at this time.

I'm just over NA nexon at this point. I played Vindictus as well, and it is still filled with hackers as well. It's not as bad, since Vindictus works differently and they don't actually ruin the game, but it just shows NA nexon can't handle their shit. Enough to make me quit Mabinogi, which I played for years.

The only reason I don't completely quit Vindictus is because soon to come out Kai, and Nexon korea won't let me play. :c
IDK how EU nexon handles hackers, but I hope it's not as bad as an issue. Idc about modders and stuff, but when people actually ruin the game...

sure thing! but the EU mabi is fu cked up cause all mobs are gone
