I am from the U.S and there are news about the downturn of the economy in every major news site up the wazoo.

Is it only the U.S or is the global economy is doing really badly?

Europe isn't doing so hot right now.

It's mostly just Europe & the US. The economy in countries such as China & Australia are still going strong.

Well, its like anything...one weak link in a chain ruins the integrity of the whole chain to some degree.

I think looking at each individual country is a mistake. Sure we all operate separately when it comes to most things, but we all depend on eachothers business for the economy to remain stable.

So to say the US and Europe are struggling is to more or less say that the world is struggling.

Ripple effect mang.

Don't worry, if it gets too bad I'm sure the US will just take money from some other country they don't like.
