Maybe its because they are at a point where everything has already been done, you cant really do anything really considered "new" or "better" without recycling, basically what Im saying is We as gamers are getting our expectations WAY too high.

You forgot to mention that all modern music is crap and the United State's economy used to be absolutly perfect between the 1940's and the 1990's.

I wish more people would stop and try to figure out why everything always seems better in the past. It gets a bit old hearing people talking about 'the good old days'.

Nostalgia isn't the only cause either. A lot of it is just dumb people being dumb.
