About Arcadia Saga
Arcadia Saga is set in the faraway future when human being falls into crisis and tries to rebuild the world into a Utopia.
The graphics are 3D rendered. The game provides production system and combat system and in addition, players can build their own house and put furniture in their house. But monsters will come and try to destroy the house, so players have to fight against the monsters to protect their house. Players will find even more fun when they build house at the place where other players believe can't.
The players will accumulate experience and knowledge during the process of building house. If their house is destroyed, they can easily rebuild their house with the experience and knowledge they accumulated in the past.
Another highlight of the housing system is that players can build their house anywhere they like, even in the wild. The advantage of building house in the wild is that when a new land is exploited, you can work with other players to construct and form a village. A village normally has higher defense than a house.
But a house involves the problem of land ownership. According to the designers, they are considering when the buildings over an area have been destroyed, other players will have the chance to obtain the ownership of that region.
It just ended it first close beta at 9/5. From what I can found out from 2chan and playing it a bit, the game play is like UO with 2D like view with action-like combat. PK fest even inside the town, pet, house that you can place anywhere on the map, etc. Ok I suck at reviewing games.
Main point.
- Most mobs in the map are all tamable.
- House that you can build anywhere on the map, and house raid by orcs and goblins. The deeper in the map you place your house the bigger and harder the raid, but the better stuff you can collect and mine. You will be needing a house because all the good stuff is far far away from the nearest town.
- Mobs doesnt drop money and eq, just skins bones and stuff that you will need to use for crafting.
- UO-like PK, equiped item and pets can be looted.
- UO-like crafting(?), ranging from cooking, furniture, armor, weapon(all ingame armor weapon potion can be craft) jewelry, tailoring, beverage, and other stuff. Weapon/armor forging and customizing( you can add an apple to your weapon which will give xx atrribute)

well its not AION level thats for sure, but I sure had a blast playing those 3 closed beta days.

Raid vids, the mob with pink sign is the raiders. You can see some house started smoking.
Oh and raids isnt a gm trigger event. Its a random event that depends on map, some map have alot of raids and high level mobs, some map have less raid with lower level raiders. First a scout comes, then if the scout found a house
he will call the raiders group, if you can kill the scout first, you will avoid the raid, or if youre
an @$$ you just lure the scout to the house you wanna destory.

Best one ever Yesterday Q&A ended, the GM house was raided(you can see the house shakes) then the GM summons 2 drake? dragon? which lay waste to everyone in its path. I wasnt on the vids tho, i was with the other drake.
