1.durability = ... durability ^^ if it reaches zero it "breaks", means that your char cant use the stats +defense on it anymore until you repair it

2. through events and/or guild lvlups

3. you'll get sent back to town and you'll start at 1% life. then you can either pay the fee to go back to full life/mana at once, or just wait. i'd tell you to wait since the fee is quite expensive ;/
