Maybe.. The people that actually do play those games like the thrill of being scared. If you play a "scary" game and you're not scared, then whats the point in playing it. Just play any other FPS.

Sorry people arn't as grown up as you are chief but, really maybe your mind isn't as open as some others therefore, they see the scary in the game. Don't like someone haveing scary moments while playing a game? Well, you know what? too fucking bad your word won't change how someone else sees things.

Im gonna have to agree, some people play scary games for the same reason people watch scary movies and that is to get scared. My reason is similar only I do it for the adrenaline because when your playing or watching these things you never know whats going to happen (like those damn ninjas from FEAR...) So the posts of you flaming people who get scared are pointless because just because you say theyre not scary wont change someone else's view on the game.

That's why i don't play FEAR..Just the cape freaks me out,i have had to scary experiences in real life..Not inside my house,it's perfectly normal but outside sometimes stuff freaks me out...

Why,i'll tell ya there was this time me and my class went to a field trip to a observatorie (Oh smit barrels of gold to that) and while having lunch we saw a old house in the gardens of the observatorie.We all agreed to go inside and me and two chicks were the first to go in..It was very weird,we saw a baby shoe and kept on..Untill..THE GROUND BROKE!We got so freaking scared that the coward guy from my class almost fainted.I didn't go back in but the girls did..They say they saw a clown doll lying around and there was this door with a jesus poster..They opened it and it eventualy let to the street but they didn't acess the attic of the house...Man that had to be the scariest experience of my life!
