Hi! Was just wanting to let you guys know some of my pvp expierences and maybe get some experiences from others. So, first off, I'm an archer 24/8 and I have the following skills: Target shot, multi shot, piercing shot, hawk ritual, and toxify arrow. I havent done the pvp thing much but from what I have done, my character owns. Not sure if it was just luck or what, but I usually own my friends(warrior and a mage) pretty easy.

First time I fought my mage friend I was 22/6(without piercing shot) and he was level 23/?. When we started he was just blasting me with his normal shot. I ended up killing him in about two volleys of my target shot. The second time he tried to cast the big rock spell(dont know the name) but he was dead before he could get it off.

My warrior friend really doesnt do that much damage. However the close range combat penalty for archers hurt. If he started up close, then it would be a fight. However kiting when a skill refreshes proves to be a bit much.

I havent fought with either of my friends since I got my piercing skill. I think that would be a real killer. The criticals would make 'em guzzle pots pretty good. I think archer is going to be the best pvp character, but I might be wrong. What about you guys, what do you think?

P.S. anyone that has gotten strong shot(or whatever the level 6 job skill is) could you give some feedback on how that skill does for you? Piercing shot seems to give me about 460 damage for a crit and 220 without a crit. The critical rate is pretty good also, and the fact that it hits ALL targets in its path(in front and behind the target) is nice. Sort of like a mini AoE.

i think i'll be a dagger type is dagger archers strong ? give me some advise people who played

I really didnt like dagger....it's not that fast, and it doesnt do good damage. and having to use the "normal stab" hotkey to fight is a big pain since dagger is the secondary. Anyway, I haven really seen any dagger archers out there. All of 'em I have seen are bow archers.

Well, good for you... I must say Archers are a pain >.> I have a 24/8 Swordie, but I actually KICK SOME BUTT lol.. I was in icebreaker, around 25 ish people got, was with the last 3 ( was lvl 22/6 at the time ) and was going against 2 archers lvl 24 and 25 one with a partner / fairy ( archer rain minion )

so basically they shot the hell out of me, suprisingly my health dropped slow ( cause I kick butt, lol ) but I could do some good melee dmg on them I mean I don't know about your friend, but I can out crit a archer, but you guys have annoying knockback skills, basically your overpowered vs swordies right now. I mean knockback + slowing effects, you can't fully kite me, but its a pain than again I was a few lvls lower than them and vs 2. I put up a good fight almost killed one, but they pot spam or sit while I fight the other, was lame lol

Though I never died even once, the game ended and warped the 3 of us out, I admit I used some pots but they used just as much. Wait till im job 12 than I'll have my rush skill, my 100% daze/stun plus skill, and my 1 shot ultra damage skill. Ehh look up the correct skill names yourselves = P hehe.

All in all, level makes a huge difference from lvl 22/6 - 24/8 im much better. a 20 should not be able to beat a 24 and a 24 should not to a 28, level makes much difference in gear at least at these levels. xD

Oh and about vs ing mages, they have 1k hp I have 2.2k I hit just as hard as them, they usually run around shoot me pot spam like archers sorta but archers stand still more since they have the knockback skill, plus you sorta can't kite I mean whenever someone tried to whenever they stopped even for a bit I was hitting them but a noob you can kite, lol.

p.s. I have a 19 sorc aswell when they get ice freeze plus skill, I will have a problem there xD lol well on my swordie atleast, hehe.

well thats me 0.02$ pvp on nosmates ^_^

seems like archers are the glorified class in this game then. is your bow upgraded at all

yeah, bow is rare level 3 +2. It's the level 20 bow. My thorn rat is 1 level lower than me(23) and is +2/+2.

I was lucky enough to join the level 1-15 icebreaker when I hit 15. I was one of the few who made it to the end of the round. The only problem I had with the icebreaker matches is the running. If someone is running, you can BARELY hit them. Some players literally ran in circle for the full 10 mintues, with several players trying to hit them.

It's funny to look at, but frustrating when you're actually trying to fight someone.

Yeah Icebreaker is just a big run and pot fest, so I don't do them. Battle potions and Time Circle is much better.
