what is obedience, and how do I raise it back after it drops?

Go to your miniland. Go to town then go to the house icon on the map, thats the miniland.

go to the general store and buy pet food,click on your pet(to target it)
then double click the pet food
you can check loyalty on its stat screen

Pet food is the portable way of raising obedience. I'm cheap so I just go to miniland.
