Try guild wars. It's not exactly MMO style but its free to play after u purchase an access code. The graphics are amazing for an online game and the storyline is great too. Also there is plenty of pvp involed in the game and if you are in a guild you can do guild VS guild battles which can be quite fun. There is already 2 different guild wars games out and each can be played seperately or combined so u can bring ur characters between both games. In the first one (prophocies) you can choose from 6 proffessions...Warrior, monk, ranger, necromancer, elementalist, or mesmer. Later in the game u can choose a second proffession which will increase ur power and the amount of skills you have. THe second game (factions) has the same proffessions as the last game with the addition of Assassin and Ritualist. In factions your guild will be able to form alliances with others and fight for territory and control towns. There is the option of making a PvP character which starts you at lvl 20 (which is the max lvl in the game) but ur limited to pvp battles, guild Vs guild, and alliance battles. OR you can choose to make a roleplaying character where u do quests and missions to level up and progress through the storyline. Roleplaying characters can also take place in pvp, Guilv vs guild, and alliance battles its not limited to pvp characters. This is one game worth looking into.
