What is Maplestory?
Maplestory is a 2D side scroller game. You play with mostly the keyboard and rarely need the mouse. Great thing to hear for all you laptop touchpad users.

When playing Maplestory like most MMOs your aim is to level up. As you get to higher levels you will be stronger and be able to do some PQs or Party Quests. I can't explain all about the game as that will most likely turn into a very long review, so just google it.

I'm new and need some help!
Well, first of all thanks for considering to join the game with us. The first thing I would recommend is reading around about the game on fansites or even on OnRPG. I would recommend Mapletip and Basil Market. These are great resources for the game. Basil market is also a great place to auction your items online for mesos.

Since this is a very popular game and I'm sure many have played it, I won't list all classes and introduction to the game unless it is requested or I have time. That is normally only done for newer games or forgotten ones.

If you are still confused about the game feel free to ask me or Jrgsubzero. Our IGNS are the same as our forum names.

First of all I will let you know we are playing on Global Maplestory which is the NA version, sorry Europeans! Secondly, we are on the Windia server.

Register with Nexon and download the game here.

Once you are in make sure to pick the Windia server and channel doesn't matter. As for classes we don't currently need a specific class for our guild as of now, so pick what ever you are interested in.
Remember: Cygnus Knights can only go up to level 120 compared to the regular 200.

A guild?
On October 16, 2009 we have started our guild; Arcanum. Here are all the people that helped us by being in the first party. More were willing, but these are the random ones I invited to party from the IGN list.
