The only thing I want ... is a game that won't get old within a week.
So just list games that you like that won't get old within a week.
I'm a very very picky gamer, so ... I need something that truly isn't gonna get old for a while... My girlfriend's in Paris, so until she gets back, I got nothin to do... thanks for the help!

silkroad= only thing is you need to learn how to build you charecter=basically you either want to be a nuker(kills enemys fast) or a tanker(takes a lot of hits) if you want to be a nuker you put all your points to the int. if you want to be a tanker you put all your points to str., also you need to keep you mastery lvl low so that you get more sp points(dont spend those points until you are lvl 20)

if you follow this advice and check out the silkroadonline forums then this game could last you months if not years.

sounds like you need maple story its super addicting everytime my friend quits he always ends up back playen it or theres dragon gem but i would rather play maple story

Omg... lol... Maple Story is like.. the worst game I've ever played...
My friend tried to get me to play it, so I played it for like 2 days to give it a chance... it sucked... like.. it wasn't even bad, it was horrible.

Dragon Gem looks like a different version of Maple story so I don't think I'd advise playing it; but then again it's just the graphics that look like it, thew game play might be totally different

What are you guys thinking, RYL, as much as I love it, gets really old after the first few weeks.

And MapleStory is even worse, I played it hardcore for about. . .3 days and realized the level of repetativeness was going to make me blow myself away.
Silkroad same thing. ^^

I'm not saying they're bad games, just no replay value really.

Oh and for you that said "Learning how to 'build' (moreso choose) your character," made a game not get boring in a week? That just determines how fun it is for the week before it gets boring.

Enough bashing though, lemme think. . Games that don't get old fast:

- Everquest 1 / 2 (p2p though, damn, huge games, took a while to get old for me)

- Planetside (Although not a pure RPG, but enough Sony Games)

- R.O.S.E. Online

- Guild Wars (As much as it pains me to say, and how much I despise the game now; when I was into it, lasted me quite a while.)

I can't think of anymore off the top of my head. . .whoa long post.

Yeah, people have mentioned Everquest to me...
I'm actually in the midst of trying WoW...
A lot of people have told me that that's where I need to go.
Planetside got old..
Guild Wars got old...
Which is surprising... I was one of those people who have been following Guild Wars since day -60, when the idea was first pitched... I had a countdown until the game was released.. I played it for like.. six months... and realized it's just the same over and over again... There are things in WoW (apparently) that I have been looking for, so I'm gonna check that out...
