I don't know, like I said I'm not tech savvy. When I and my brother tried using a restore point, it wasn't turned on and it said one wasn't created. The computer didn't have a restore point before the internet stopped working.
So we decided to not mess with that, I'm pretty sure it isn't a virus because my computer would be slow and we just scanned it (used malwarebyte's anti-malware).
