I'm not so sure of that actually. The Final Fantasy name definitely carries weight, so a lot of people will likely at least try both (I admit that I certainly will). However, the fact that FF12 got some pretty mixed reactions and that FF14 looks like it may be leaning more towards WoW than towards FF11 and I think there is at least a
chance that immigrants from FF11 and the Final Fantasy fanbase in general may be disappointed and scatter to other stuff.
