Charlie had seen the girl's eyes, they had flared up when he had grabbed her, he realised that he was stil holding her arm. He let go of her and grinned, "The king can only be in control if the people let him." He agreed,
"I'm Charlie by the way."
He looked startiled when the older man stepped from the shadows. He was very wary of the new arrival, he made his voice sound younger. "It's the government, yeah? Telling us what to believe, it's a deprivation of our human rights." Charlie made the last two words sound unfamiliar, as if he didn't know what he was talking about.
