I really don't know what to say about this. While yes animals can be food. Theres a big difference between dogs, and cats, than a chicken or a cow, if you can't see that then you are pretty ignorant. You can make the excuse of it being just a part of our society. But does that mean if there was a country where murder and child molestation wasn't a crime, does that mean there's nothing morally wrong with it? Or even hitler's big plans, i bet nobody says those are a good idea, despite that being how they were raised and felt.
And animals just aren't animals, both pet cats, and dogs, are animals that evolved to be subserviant to humans. They are not bred to be food, not even those killed in these video's, despite being "ignorant" or strays. Honestly how are dogs ignorant? Not trained well? I guess not when their bred and put into cages to be clubbed to death and stabbed in the heart. let alone the fact that dogs and cats, are smarter than cows or chicken. And can and do feel genuine emotion. A cow and a chicken do not have the ability to have such emotions(they do have some but not to that extent) and they can't be companion instead of just a pet you feed once in awhile.
And that's the biggest difference, a dog or a cat, are just on a higher level then other animals when it comes to the ability to bond and share relations with humans. Other animals have been shown to be able to develop the bond, but it's different, a wild animal can bond with a human, but it's still wild. Even one raised from a baby.
Cow's only real human following is from religion, if you aren't that religion then you wouldn't feel that way.
Of course theres vegetarians out there who refuse to eat meat, maybe for health reasons, maybe to protest the meat market, who knows. But i'll get back to you guys the next time a cow, comes up to me at the door to greet me, follows me around the house, plays games with me, goes on walks with me, and sleeps tucked into the space behind my knees at night.
Note: notice how i didn't say pigs. Yeah i've had pet pigs, just as i've been around pet cows and chickens. Pigs are almost dogs or cats when raised.
