Stone shrugged his shoulders in answer to Hannibal. “Taking his time.”
The merc edged his way from the door and warily glanced out the window slit. Catching sight of the newcomer at the door he ducked back away from the glass.
“Looks like it that new guy. The one with the beat up assault rifle. Suppose I’d be cautious too if I didn’t have a weapon on me.”
Giving fair warning Stone shouted through the door, “I’m opening the door. Enter with your paws in the air. Any sign of trouble and you won’t even have time to realise you made a mistake.”
With due care, Stone pushed open the door slowly.
