i think right. They mostly eat dogs in the poorer parts of the country where other meat isn't readily available.
I don't like how the media always just pins eating and killing dogs to Chinese people. Some of the videos on Youtube claims to be showing "Chinese people killing and eating dogs", when it clearly did not take place in China (I would know, I'm fluent). I'm pretty sure Korea and Vietnam eat just as much or more than they do. I've also lived in China for quite a long time, and I've never eaten any dog meat in my life. o.o
