DA:O isn't exactly the best and new "true rpg" that is out, it is atleast in the Top 10. To me, DA:O is just old BG and NWN slaped on with newer gfxs and different story line, but with somewhat same settings(of course story line is different in every game, but settings mostly don't change much).
for the new ones out there is also FF13, another classic RPG upgraded with today's hungry graphical gameplay demand from consumers.
there is more, but i can't think of them from the top of my head atm...just got back from work like a hour ago.
so now im gonna go play risen :P gonna make a mage this time, since i'm done with archer and tank/melee/swordsman type class builds
