Once Min finished eating, she quickly turned to the front door and re-entered the house. Inside, she slipped off her flip-flops, rinsed the bowl out, washed it, dried it, and put it away. Her father was up and about, talking on the phone with his boss about his successful pictures of the day. Finding his loud, enthusiastic voice a tad annoying, Min put her flip-flops back on and strolled over to the beach. There were some children with their parents, couples playing in the shallow water, and single woman bathing in the sun. There were people with skin that looked smooth and dark, others with skin so pale that they already looked like tomatoes. Never-the less, everyone had bright smiles on their faces, even the ones with sun burns.

"Everything looks so peaceful here. I couldn't even imagine that Earth could be in danger, let alone that there are other worlds out there."

Immediately, Min's mind went back to Edenia, then focused on the District of Lon. There was history built beneath it, and no one wanted to go near it. Everyone felt that, even though Min can use the gate now, the tragic past should not be recalled. At least, not until all the Gatekeepers both knew of their capabilities and met up with everyone. It didn't matter if all the keys had been found if everyone didn't unite. Then again, Min had no clue where the others were, which fustrated her. They could be very close, or extremely far away; even if Min had the money to travel, it would be impossible to search the whole world.

"What should I do? I know what my fate is, but I do not know how to continue forward. Plus, not everyone might be as willing as I am. I don't even know if I will remain loyal to this mission myself."
