Charlie had just been about to tell Tinker that it was rude to steal other people's food when Caim and Xyza had entered. As all the faces had turned Charlie sighed, he had hoped that a public area would be a safe place to talk but he hadn't counted on the public itself.
He looked at Tinker and Amara. "Excuse me for just one minute. I'll be right back." He stared at Amara in particular, his eyes desperately willing her to stay. He stood up and walked to the door of the cafe. He opened the door and looked out at the two, "I'm so sorry." He apologetically smiled, "Humans are usually better than this."
