Ketan had stayed behind with Caim, not feeling comfortable in an crowded place like that café, he felt like backing when Charlie and Xyza came back, but resisted the instinct and stayed with them, it just felt like they were different than other people he met, that talk about freedom was odd and a bit fascinating.
That they were different was only confirmed as everyone except Xyza pretty much said they were mutants, though Xyza seemed non too shocked at the news, so she probably was one as well.
As Charlie said something about an shield Ketan couldn’t help but think he heard that name somewhere, but couldn’t quite recall where, “ehm, he stopped a bit unsure how to say it then continued, “think I heard something about it sometime, but remember where”.
