Welcome to the lands of hyboria, where murder and bloodshed are looked upon, instead of away from.
To the north we have Cimmeria, a land of wooded fields and hard tundra, mountain ranges and cold, gray skies are all part of the Cimmerian geography. Politically Cimmeria is surrounded by those who would aim to kill or conquer the native clans. Those ancient and proud clans have thrived in the Cimerian foothills since the time of the Atlanteans. The desolate terrain has long since been softened with the blood of Pictish invaders, Vanir raiders, Hyperborean Gurnakhi, or foolish would-be conquerors from the Border Kingdoms. But no one man could possibly claim these unconquerable people-or the lands in which they struggle daily to survive. Cimmeria is a harsh place of clan wars and tightly-knit families, where strength and cunning are key to survival.
It is a land filled with dangerous people and predators, where much of the life that can be found in its frozen hills lives only to take life from another. Wolves, mountain cats and fierce bears hunt the frozen ranges and thick woods, more than capable of killing entire hunting parties unprepared for their savagery. Stories of monstrous beasts and dark legends waiting in the icy wastes for foolish travelers are told around crackling campfires, many of which have been proven true time and time again. In Cimmeria, if the weather and the terrain do not claim you, something else likely will.
Key Notes about Cimmeria - Magic is illegal, any use of it and you will be captured by the guards and hung, decapitated, disemboweled, or fed to the Rot Worms.
To the South we have the deserts of Stygia, Home to Khemi, its Heart. The desert kingdom of Stygia, possibly the most infamous nation in the Hyborian mainland, is the birthplace, home, and wellspring of the Priesthood of Set the serpent god of darkness. The entire kingdom is ruled by the clergy, with the closest devotee or disciple of Set having the single most influential hand throughout the Stygian territory. From the coast of the Western Sea to the shores of the River Styx, the power of Set’s snake-worshiping acolytes is supreme.
Although bordered by the dark-skinned Kushites, the cannibal Darfari to the south, and to the north by the influential merchant-traders of Shem, Stygia does not show fear of its neighbors. So ironclad is their belief in Set that they look upon all outsiders as infidel lower creatures who have not yet discovered the truth in Set's darkness. Outsiders are less than they are, and only a shackle's clasp away from being a slave.
Keynotes about Stygia, Magic is allowed here, only for stygians, outsiders will be thrown into a snake pit, or sold into slavery. Outsiders are believed to be peasents, so even stygian slaves are higher than you, respect them.
And in the middle, lies the jewel of Hyboria, Aquilonia is nestled east of the savage Pictish Wilderness, west of militant Nemedia, north of cutthroat Zingara, and south of the Cimmerian tundra. It has pleasant weather and rich, arable farmable lands interwoven and fed by some of the largest rivers in the world. Game hunting is common and plentiful, and wilderness paths and civilized roads are patrolled by Aquilonian forces. At first glance, it is a peaceful kingdom of plenty built on a very pleasant stretch of Hyborian land
Alas, it cannot be so. Although the barbarian King Conan of Cimmeria has taken great lengths to keep his kingdom safe from outside threats and domestic squabbles, Aquilonia sees its share of unrest. Aquilonia has become a kaleidoscope of intrigue and hand-on-hilt politics. There are many people who call this land home, carving several invisible borders within the kingdom itself. Bossonians, Poitanians, Gundermen, and others lay claim to lands that now all exist under King Conan's rule.
The barbarian king rules from his throne in the capitol city of Tarantia, delegating his laws and edicts down through the cascade of titled and landed nobles. The city is a massive, walled urban sprawl, its blue and golden towers reaching high into the sky. A kingdom's worth of people from all corners of the world call Tarantia home, protected in part by its high walls and its elite Black Legion army, the capitol's military force. Many travel long distances to come to this place, the "Heart of Aquilonia", trying to claim part of its dazzling wealth and power for themselves.
Keynotes, Magic is allowed here, however Dark arts such as necromancy, or cult related magic isnt. If caught you will be thrown into prison, hung, or have your left eye cut out and exiled.

Races
The Main Races (these are playable)
Cimmerian, Strong, Generally tall, 6'0 and above, cannot use magic, but can become shamans. Generally White to pale skin. Only their women can delve into dark arts.
Aquilonian, Tall, but rarely above 6'0, can use magic, but cannot be shamans, skin color is light brown to pale white. they worship Mitra so their primary magic is holy. They can delve into necromancy and other dark arts if taught
Stygian. Tall, rarely below 5'8, rarely above 6'5, can use magic, but cannot be shamans, skin color ranges from light brown to dark chocolate. they can delve into necromancy and other dark arts

Archetypes
instead of forcing you guys to roll a class, im going to ask for archetypes instead, these will allow your character to grow in any direction you please, but weakening them in places. RP'ing is about fun amirite?
Soldier- Common Fighter,etc.
Benefits - Great in melee, can wear heavy armor by default, can use heavy weapons. Generally played by people who don't like complex stuff.
Cons - Magic use is very,very limited.
Rogue - Mix of melee, magic, stealth, and range.
Benefits - alittle bit of everything, magic capabilities are better than a soldier, but much weaker compared to mages. Its melee is better than mage, but weaker than Soldier's. Has best stealth out of all archetypes, aswell as use of a ranged weapon. Generally played by people who like classes with choice.
Cons - even though they can use magic, they don't have much strength with it, meaning you can't cast alot of spells, and one could kill you.
Mage - The guy who shoots fireballs..etc. Simple Class to play
Benefits- Great sorcery skills, stealth better than a soldier, but weaker than a rogue.
Cons - If you wear any armor outside of leather you'll be hindered, you dont have much health, cannot preform heals, unless u learn it somewhere
Priest - The guy who heals you, decent melee abilities however.
Benefits - Can heal greatly, even better when their target is resting. Decent melee skills, better than a rogue, weaker than a soldier. Can curse, and dis spell curses. Magical strength is higher than a mage.
Cons - Cannot preform attack spells, besides things like curses, your healing is very hindered in battle.
Shaman - Mixbreed, of all the archetypes in one. Spells deal with the earth.
Benefits, Can heal, stealth, melee, and cast curses aswell as attack spells. aswell as not be limited by your armor when casting.
Cons - Only Cimmerians can be shamans, you can only cast outside, on dirt. concrete or anything that seperates the character from the ground will cancel the spell.
Notes about Magic- Magic in hyboria is different, i want a risk to use it. So for example if you are to cast..a spell that holds a target in place, and they are greatly stronger than you (like a cyclops), then the spell will drain all your strength and you die. point blank. in some cases thoroughly weakened.
Any archetype can do magic, however Cimmerian males cannot delve into anything but shaman type magic, which deals with the earth and nature.
their females can delve into dark arts, becoming witches and etc

I am looking for a secondary GM to help host this rp, requirements are only that you can keep incheck with this post to keep it moving fluently when im not here.

3.No MetaGaming, or ignoring damage in battle, also you cannot force someone to take damage.

Final notes : these are dark and cruel lands, small fragile anime characters probably wont survive long here, so try to keep your character looking like it will keep a chance.
But no matter, there is a high chance i will give you a greenlight to go.
