Many years have passed since the incident of 2612. In fact, the date is now 3000, meaning the earthlings suffered 838 years of torment and tragedy. All the technology that the people held dear became defective and lost all power. Destruction soon followed, for no one knew how to survive without technology. Nature could not withstand the impure society any longer and, over the years, crumbled. Many of the few precious children of the world lost their soals, leaving empty corpses in their wake. Dreams were lost, and with them, all hopes of surviving. The one responsible was none other than the Dream Catcher.

The Dream Catcher is a malicious spirit with a body like that of a cloak shroaded in darkness and light with rips at the bottom of it. It preys only on those with the most powerful and purest of dreams, which are found in children. Once it finds a target, the Dream Catcher sucks out the spirit of that child, which surrounds him like an aura before filling one of many black beads with a specific color of light (the soul). That bead is tied upon one of the strings on a dream catcher, an empty hole in the middle of it with millions of strands winding from it. The feathers coming down from it resembled a beard, and in fact, the dream catcher is the "face" of the Dream Catcher. There are horns jetting out of its hood, devilish and twisted.

Condition of the world now: The Dream Catcher has almost completed its mission as a deity of destruction. The world has become a vast sea tainted with darkness and poisonous to all that try to drink from it. Acids also exist in its depth, and is responsible for eating away most of the earth. Lots of continents sunk, all the islands are non existant, and only one main land exists:

Jannai Village, the center of all the destruction, most of the children were sent and "killed" here. Ruined town houses and shops exist here, yet there are hardly any sky scrapers or the likes present. Instead, most of the village is overran with vines and larger, more frightening versions of fly traps (plants). On top of a large hill, like a castle in ancient cities, resides Jannai High. No longer does it look like a high school, but a fort. The walls of steel were built high, as if to reach the heavens, with a armored gate that no one could dare penetrate. There is an engraved design on it, but only a few would know what it is for. Inside the walls is a school that looks like a castle, and deep within its depths is a secret room filled with tubes. Inside those tubes are children, specifically, the Creators that will awaken to fight against the Dream Catcher.

Written on a board behind the tubes is the only explanation of the Dream Catcher for the children:

A glowing soul,
A wayward soul,
A shattered soul.
When light turns to dark,
When dark turns to light,
What path lies before the soul?
A spirit of ominous wonder,
A power of infinite porportion,
And a sword of light and darkness.
When the soul is lost,
A dream is born.
When a dream is lost,
A road is born.
When a road is lost,
A new hope is born.
When a new hope is lost,
A dark beginning is born.

The dreams of children back in the year of 2612 had been too chaotic. They couldn't focus on what their true dream was, and their dream form was easily overpowered. To help each child discover their true dream upon awaking, a list was made:

The Fighter is someone with a strong will and physical build. They are exceptional at karate, boxing, fencing, sword fighting, or something along those lines. Far from timid, their personality is usually energetic and optimistic, ready for a challange anytime. Weapon(s): fist (may have gloves of some sort)

The Knight is someone with is noble and courageous at heart. Unlike The Fighter, those under this catagory do not have to be necessarily strong at first, but rather, willing to stand up for or sacrifice themselves for either a complete stranger or a loved one being threatened by an evil force (ex. bully). This makes them very kind and charismatic, attracting followers (or fans) easily; they are naturally born leaders. Weapon(s): any sword type (besides light and/or short swords), lance; shield included (unless sword requires two hands)

The Elusive is someone with a quick mind and excellent hand/eye coordination. It is hard to lay a punch on them, for they are good at dodging and are extremely lithe. A dancer, gymnast, or any other flexible person tends to be this, as well as one with great intellect and someone who could easily read moves. Contrary to what many may believe, those under this catagory are flirtatious and/or outgoing. Weapon(s): double (light) weapons; pole (of some sort)

The Elementist is a strange one, for someone who falls under this is one with immense creativity and imagination. Somehow, their deep connection to the fine arts allows them to bond with nature better than anyone else, and grant them the power of the elements (fire, water, wind, earth; only the basics). Although they seem weaker and more defenseless than anyone else, there dreams tend to be stronger, thus making their "magic" strong. Personality wise, they tend to seem shy at first, but can be quite talkative once they warm up to people. Weapon(s): wand, staff, stave

The Ranger is another one with a good eye; they tend to have immense patience and concentration. Obviously, those that fall under this are good with a bow and arrow, as well as any other long range weapon. Granted, they may not be fast with their feet, but their hand/eye coordination is beyond significant; there accuracy is closer than anyone else too. Personality wise may range from extremely quiet to obnoxious (in the "do-not-talk-to-me-you-inferior-and-annoying-twit" way). Weapon(s): bow and arrows, gun (no military guns! pistol is fine.), whip, or any other long-range weapon <<CLOSED, unless you do not want to use a bow...>>

The Necromancer is someone with immense darkness in their heart. Some may believe this makes them empty and void of dreams, but it is just the contrary. Those that fall under this catagory are the ones responsible for tales, be they stories or poems, of horror, tragedy, and gothic stories in general. They envoke terror, but also the awareness of the darker side of life. Due to their frightening view on life, their power comes in the form of being able to call upon dark spirits to do their bidding, as well as curses and the likes. Personality wise, they tend to be either extremely creepy or very reserved. Weapon(s): lexicon (book; can emit darkness when opened)

The Sun Healer is someone with a loving and caring heart. Just like The Knight, those that fall under this catagory wish to assist those in trouble. However, they are either extremely fragile and/or hesitant about what to do in certain situations. Above all else, they are lonely and wish to have the warm feeling of a companion. This feeling is probably why part of their power comes in the form of the sun, which provides warmth; but, like a fire, it needs someone there or it will burn out. The other half, healing, comes from wanting to make sure those that they love do not hurt physically like they would hurt mentally if their loved one vanished from their side. Weapon(s): those that are holy and ward against evil, such as a crucifix, rowan wood, or a small weapon (dagger) or item (bible) with a cross on it

The Gambler is someone who has a lot of luck. They are good at winning almost evey card game, slot machine, or even the lottery. Their power comes in exactly that form, bringing much fortune to theirselves, while misfortune follows all that try to challange them. Their personality is hard to figure out, since they are good at keeping a "pokey face", and can range from playful to serious in seconds. One thing for sure is that they love playing games. Weapon(s): large dice(s) - 1 dice for trapping foes (time doubled depending on number; rolling 1 would be 1 minute); 2 dices for explosion (increases in size from normal being 1 - 6 being a meter)

I'll think of more later?
(Trying to think of what to call a two-handed weaponer [not a word, but meh])

*************
The World of Dreams is an advance state only the Creator can enter. Those trapped within the tubes are the Creators, each with their own dream. Once they know of their dream and can successfully call upon it, the Creators can enter the World of Dreams as an advance form of their normal self. When they exit the World of Dreams, (due to falling unconscious, running out of energy, or willing themselves out of their dream self) the Creator returns to normal in the Real World. In other words, the World of Dreams is kind of like bringing your dream self out from within your dreams into real life, thus becoming your dream self.

To enter the World of Dreams, simply type:
***World of Dreams -or- WoD***

To exit the World of Dreams, simply type:
***Real World -or- RW***

RULES:

1.) Posting a sentence is very inconvient and everyone
should at least have five sentences! I would appreciate
two paragraphs, but one is fine.

2.) No super powered beings. This means, if you are a
fighter, don't suddenly unleash a MEGA punch and K.O.
about 5 enemies all at once.

3.) One character, please. Also, I'll approve or tell you
to fix your character sheets in here (I have way too
many PMs in my inbox and outbox).

4.) No one will be controlling the Dream Catcher! I will!
Same goes for any other characters! You have been
WARNED!!!

5.) Have fun! (Not too much, though O.O)

6.) I can't think of anymore rules, so, um... *points to the
rules on the top of the Role-Playing Thread, above all the
RPs* xD

((OOC: You'll discover what I mean by "enemies" upon starting up the RP. ))
