The END you think is sorta scary is the most retarded thing ever. Her face getting distorted is over the line. Everything is legit, and real life like til then. The pirated version online has the non theater ending. And imo, is waaay better then that demon face bullshiz.
They tried to capture what it would really be like. And imo, they did a perfect job. Movies like this and the Blair Witch are amazing, and will always be favorites to many out there. Including me.
These movies leave a lot for you to decide, and if you dont believe in this type of thing, i guess you wont like it. But if you have had some sort of experience yourself with hauntings, or anything paranormal related. You allow this movie to be amazing.
So its not the movies fault, its the persons.

Face distorted? I meant when the body flies into the camera, I flinched and that was about it. Perhaps it is scary to people who thinks this stuff could happen... but when I see lights turning on in the hall at night, or a picture in the addic, I think... this is stupid. I guess I am the type of laughs at the idea of super natural of any type.
How it was bad? It is done like a boring documentary for the first half. For the first 20 nights nothing happens but lights and door... how is that in any way intense, or scary? If you find that scary I suggest you stay in past 5PM in the winter of you may be to scared of the dark. The movie if it was made by a stupid is admirable and they deserve credit for making a good movie (or rather good for their level). But these movies I think are the biggest waste of movie (I cannot say anything about Blair Witch as I had no intention of ever seeing that movie). I don't find almost any movie scary, they lead up to the scary scenes so I know when they are going to happen, the ones I find "scary" are those that don't set up the music for it and just do the actual scares. (This one you knew it was going to happen at 3-4AM when they showed the night scenes). But to each their own.
Sorry just super surprised that the footsteps and heavy breathing are scary... I found them laughable and that was actually what I did during the scene that you start seeing them do the walking.
