Remember, the lower the resolution, the more CPU dependent the FPS is. Also, I wouldn't say it's crap, now the AMD build is like, $100-200 cheaper, and only 40 seconds slower, than the i7. Some would say it's a lot, but it's not, if you say it is, well go pick up a book and read for 40 seconds, it's good for you. |
The big advantage to the i7 920 is that it runs cool enough that you can overclock it to near 4ghz with only a beefed up aftermarket air cooler.
