Default Its a dominos effect.....

So I went with the ASUS monitor that GooLooGooLoo suggested. So far, really great screen!

One draw back, I didn't realize how old my machine has gotten. OLD!

So, I ask again for some suggestions to the build that I have setup in relatively short time.

Current getup:
OS: XP Pro SP3
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3GHz
Motherboard chipset: Intel Canterwood i875P/E7210
Memory: 2GB PC2700 DDR SDRAM
GFX Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6200 AGP 256MB
Audio: Razer Barracuda AC-1 Gaming Audio Card
Power: Antec 500W
Hard Drive 0: 40GB IDE
Hard Drive 1: 120GB IDE
Standard Keyboard and a Razor Mouse

Pah I know... rediculous.

Here is what I have lined up:
Case: Thermaltake V9 Steel ATX Mid Tower
Hard Drive: WD 640GB 7200 SATA
Motherboard: GIGABYTE ATX AMD
Video Card: SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0x16 (phew...)
Power Supply: Broadway Com Corp 650W
Memory: G.SKILL 4GB (2x2GB.)
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 7850 2.8GHz
Total Cost: $715.37

Won't be buying any new peripherals as I can hook up my CD/DVD-ROMs and my system hard drive up to the IDE slot and go from there. Stickin it out with XP until I can test more with Windows 7 at our FD PC :P

Trying to setup a low-medium or medium-low high gaming machine. Not interested in SLI'ing the video cards or all the HDMI to TV blah blah... you get the picture. I will be taking a little more time setting this up (and getting the funds) so feel free to state your opinion.

Any ideas/suggestions like last time, are greatly appreciated. Cheers!
