Kaliv let a warm smile crease his lips. "I bet you have some intresting tales to tell, remind me to ask you later." He yawned, stretched. Then looked at the village, he nodded to the group. A few people began to recognise him. Then more, staring at him perplexed. No dbout most thought that the prince had perished due to the destruction of Valstram.

And no dbout they hadn't forgot his face after he visited a few years ago.

"Prince Kaliv!" One stepped out of the gathering crowd. Peresumabley the mayor of the village. He was dressed in a fine robe, detailed gold inscriptions imprinted into the fine, blue silken cloth. "It is a pleasure to welcome you to our humble adobe once more."

Kaliv then spoke, his voice suddenly changed from his casual manner - he seemed to trueley speak like a strong, bold and impressive leader. His entire stance seeming to change. "Oh, the pleasure is all mine, I assure you. I've allways admired this place, it's rather.... Secluded."

"I see you bring companions?" He inquired, then looked over his shoulder. His eyes narrowed in hate at the earthborn.

Kaliv lowered his voice: "Don't worry about her, trust me. She's a good person, she breaks the steryotype you people seem to see them through - regardless of what your past quarrels may be."

The Mayor took a deep breath of irritation. Then seemed to put it off his mind, "I see. Well, i'll be keeping an eye on her. She seems... Familiar."

Kaliv smiled slyly, then resumed his normal manner. "I have many stories to tell, as you may be wondering why the former prince of the late Valstram has come to this place once more, and why he seems to be sporting an eyepatch and has a few strands of silver in his hair. Just one thing before I tell you. Before any gossips start, no. I'm not getting old." He grinned slyly, the crowd seemed to be buying his show as a murmer of chuckles spread through them. "I shall treat you with the upmost respect, and we shall only be staying for a few days - I ask one thing of you. Please treat my company with the same respect."

"We will, prince." The Mayor stated, bowing. Kaliv grinned slightly, then placed a hand on his shoulder and lifted him back up.

"My friend, do not bow. I am a prince with no kingdom - there is no reason to." He said in a humble way. The crowd seemed impressed by the show of humbleness. In reality, Kaliv was flattered - but he made use of the situation to impress them. It was all part of the political playing field.
