which char/weapon to choose....(and attack speed?)

well i'm new to this game but i was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on what character to choose for their weapon, and ive been wondering if the attack speed of the weapons really are different... the visual on the 1h sword looks faster, but the numbers (that pop up above the enemy) look like they're coming just as fast as the 2h sword. And what about the spear? or the claw?

im prolly gonna try this soon, umm, if there is like a assassin or shaman, go with the claws or spear. If your a warrior or a preist on that side, anything is good...and basicly, id only use a spear or claws. Its all your decision.

One handed is indeed faster than two handed.

I personally like the spear users (Overseer of the Sky/Elegant Mystic) because of the range. They can attack more than one monster at a time. But ranged are also quite good too, 'cause you don't have to move around as much. So it pretty much depends on your style.

2 handed sword users are for skilling spammers and 1 handed sword users are for people that use mounts since it trains the mounts faster and its slightly weaker than 2 handed
