That's funny, it just occured to me that for some reason I don't associate those two (awesome bands) with industrial, even though, really they do fall under the label.

I guess I tend to associate the word "industrial" more with acts like Ministry: menacing dark vocals and thudding heaviness.

and Swans tend to have mellow vocals, and I tend to listen to Coil's mellow night music way more than their other stuff.

so yeah bit of an unconscious mental slip
