Helthaan growled angrily as the clone started to lumber quickly towards him. This fight was already won in his mind, and he had no doubt that the outcome would be the same physically. The cross on his dagger glowed bright silver and light seemed to channel itself through his entire body.
He quickly sidestepped the first blow thrown by the clone, and cut quickly at its arm with his dagger. The light seemed to hurt the creature more than the blade itself, and the wound left small flames eating away at its edges. The creature screamed a cry that could have chilled the blood of Satan himself, and lunged again at Helthaan. He blocked the incoming attack with his staff, then focused on pulling all the light in the room through his blade and plunging it into the eye socket of the parried attacker.
Almost immediately on contact of the blade, the assailant disintegrated into ashes, and Helthaann was left in an awkward mid-fight pose. His pulse was higher than it had ever been before, where did this power come from? he thought, as his mouth twisted into a grin at banishing another evil being from this world.
"Wow..." he mouthed breathlessly
