Glick's eyes widened with fear as she fell over. "No!" He gasped, quickly sprinting forward. Empathy was evident in his eyes, he catched the woman before she fell, then reeled back with horror as she began to transform. Darkness enveloped the room. And before he could collect his thoughts, pillars of fire burst forth around him. He clenched his fists, nearly drawing blood as he realised he had been fooled.
The horror, the wretch before him was indescribable. It was like staring at his own corpse, and it tore his heart to see the lifeless husk. It was wearing his trenchcoat, though it was torn and ragged. The apparation was sobbing, a heavy chain ball attached to it's hand. Weighing it to the ground.
"L..Let me free..." It whimpered.
Glick Munther felt himself become pulled to the ground, as if a heavy weight was blasted into his soul. Images flashed into his eyes, he looked up again at the figure. His hair was a dark black, his lips shrivelled and death-like. It whimpered once more, then let out a mighty wail. Leaping towards Glick, it swung the hand carreing the chain ball at him. The boy barley managed to dodge it, breathing heavily. He could easily defeat this... thing, he knew he could. It was slow, its movements were traceable. But... He couldn't, his legs weren't moving. It's souless gaze wrenched his soul, and he clutched his chest.
(( I hope that's fine? ))
