I lol'd real hard reading through these posts. I see alot of people looking down on China and pulling numbers out of their asses. The bottom line is neither side will win if China and the US ever go to war, both sides will be crippled beyond recovery and the little countries will jump on that chance to take power. Both China and the US very well know this. The US doesn't want a war with China and China doesn't want a war with the US. Just look at the past for answers. Numbers far out weigh the technologies. For example DDAY, not enough Germans to shoot all the allied soldiers that flooded that beach and what happen? The advanced Germans at that time got kicked back. But than again, numbers without strategies is no advantage. Only fools look down on another country/person without knowing the hard facts. And since we don't really know whats behind the curtains on both sides. this discussion is pretty much pointless.

The Art of War by Sun Tzu, 600 BC

Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance.

If your opponent is of choleric temperament, seek to irritate him.

There is no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare.

For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities... It is best to win without fighting.

In terms of economic advantage, China has the US by the balls. And why hasn't the US or UN taken out N. Korea yet?! N. Korea who had been testing long range missiles and making nuclear warheads. Its because N. Korea and China has strong ties. The US maybe number 1 at the moment, but if we let that arrogance get to our head, we won't be number 1 very long.
