((OOC: Kind of back tracking before continuing on, only because Malcolm asked his question while Eilian was chatting.))
Eilian grinned at Malcolm, who seemed to find the sandwiches...tolarant. It was obvious that he didn't think the sandwiches were first-class rated food, but it wasn't made by sloppy and uncaring hands. As Malcolm ate, Eilian saw him glance at his ramen and ask if that was what it was. Nodding his head in the midst of his speculations about the camp, he hoped Malcolm would know it was directed at him (Eilian looked straight into his eyes as he did so, too). That's when Francis laugh caught Eilian temporarily off guard, possibly because he was sitting right next to him, and his voice sounded louder than it was meant to be.
"I never said I liked them. What I meant was that anyone so obsessed with time management must have a pretty lofty plan for all of us here, and I want to know what that plan is." Eilian shrugged at the next remark, his voice growing a bit too serious in his next response. "Tsk, as if I would forgive those bastar -- sorry, I meant to say, if it weren't for those 'irritating, obsessive-compulsive, strict, tight knotted, imbeciles', I wouldn't have had to use my emergancy food as a meal. Even Annabeth had to go through all that trouble to get us some fruit to eat because of their secrecy. Why can't they just print us a list of what to do and when we are doing it, instead of doing things to their own accord?"
Finished with his complaints, Eilian noticed Duran moping all on his own, which didn't seem fair. Even after someone else noticed him all by his lonesome (that person being the tall boy Eilian spotted earlier), it still felt rude to leave one of his companions out of the conversation, or at least not speak with them for a bit. Knowing Malcolm and Francis didn't need him to guide their hands, Eilian made his way over to Duran just as he the Harry (the tall boy) introduced himself. Eilian listened for a bit before entering the conversation, sitting down by Harry and waving at him before gazing over at Duran.
"My, Duran, you seem to be quite the popular fellow. You managed to draw someone over to you without saying a word to get their attention. In my opinion, I wouldn't call someone who could attract people in such a way 'lost'." Eilian turned to Harry, a friendly smile on his face. His eyes flickered over to Annalise, back at Harry, and finally a chuckle escaped his lips. "I see now. Granted, I saw the glint in your eyes when Annalise addressed me, but I only just realized what it meant. You like her, don't you?" A huge grin appeared on Eilian's face, but he soon sighed and slapped his forehead.
"Then again, perhaps the reason you two gathered together is because you two are both lost in your own ways. Anyway I can help?"
((OOC: Note: Since Eilian is so sociable, he tends to hold conversations, only to move from that conversation to another one that seems more intriguing to him. I guess he can seem impatient in that way as well. xD ))
