Duran hears Eilians remarks and so he looks up to him and smiles kindly then shakes his head. "No...Harry is just sick of being ignored by the girls he wishes to flirt with and I'm just a loner." Duran intended to be sarcastic to the other two boys. This was his way of pushing others away from him. He had already figured out that he didn't belong with these people. Their personalities where so annoying to him. Harry had forced himself to talk to him and Eilian was nosy and he talked way too much.
Duran continues to smile to Eilian for a bit and then returns to his previous state, lowering his head back down onto his arms and continuing to stare at the large glass window.
